House Rules You are sharing the home with others, so you please be courteous and clean up the kitchen and your trash after your group to keep the common areas clean. Cameras: Please do not adjust the cameras that are outside surrounding the home. If you break them, they're $250 a camera plus installation cost. The motion sensor alerts are turned off when guests arrive. If you leave and you want the motion sensor alerts turned on to protect the home and your belongings, please let me know so I'll turn it back on. Back Yard All the back doors have double key deadbolts. To open up the back door you'll need to grab the key that's hanging on the hook in the wall next to the door. Please stay in the open access areas of the back yard. The fenced off areas of the side yard and the pool equipment are not included in your lease and are not a safe area for kids to play. THE POOL: Drowning can happen in an instant. Please watch your children around the pool and keep the gates shut and not propped open for safety. Don’t drink and swim. If you want to unlock the large pool gate so it's easy to go in and out of the pool area and you will accept full liability, responsibility, and indemnify the owner, then request the code and I can give it to you. During the winter we have a pool cover which is NOT safe to play with, step on, or swim with. A person or animal can be caught in the cover and drowned. It is VERY dangerous to swim in the pool with the pool cover. Pool cover should be removed from the pool prior to swimming. Two people can roll it up very easily. More pool rules are located at the end of this message Spa / Hot Tub Please remove the top and put it behind the spa and put it back when you are done. TV & WiFi The WiFi Network is: ChestnutsRoasting-Guest password is: PleaseBeKind2Others There are televisions in almost every room. The TVs are Smart TVs in which you can login to any service that you pay for as well as internet live tv. The remotes to each TV are velcro to the back of the TV. BBQ- There is a propane BBQ. It has a full tank. Refills are not included in your stay. If you need more propane you will need to refill it at a local store. Garbage: located on the garage side of the home. The Black Garbage need to be put on the curb Monday night as they come early Tuesday Morning to pick it up. The Blue Recycle and Green Trash Goes on the curb Thursday night as they get pick up early Friday morning. Laundry: Please do not use the 2nd Dryer. HVAC - Please do not pull the Nest thermostat off of the wall. Turn it lightly to the right or the left to change the temperature. If you like I can also change the temperature for you remotely from my phone. Just send me a message and I will get it done. DO NOT SMOKE IN THE HOME! It cost $650 for a company to do smoke odor removal. If you smoke in the home, you will be responsible for this amount. The backyard has tables and chairs next to a fire safe cigarette receptacle. Please use it. Parking There is one Garage door opener near the garage door. Parking permitted in the garage and driveway only. The city will not permit parking in the yard. Any city fines will be your responsibility. Bathrooms Both bathrooms have multiple shower heads which means that there is extra pipe in the wall which will take more time to drain than a normal shower. Be EXTRA CAREFUL to only put toilet paper into the toilets. Additional, garbage bags, paper towels and toilet Paper that are not already in the home will be your responsibility. Do NOT use the white washcloths, hand or bath towels to remove makeup or for anything other than normal use in the bathrooms. Please use the colored washcloths and towels instead. Parties No parties with alcohol. No parties with more than 10 people. Do not spill alcohol in the pool or spa. $50 charge for drinks spilled in the pool. Do not take liquids or food on the bedding. Epoxy Countertop: Please do not put hot pots or frying pans on the countertops without a hotpad holder. A hot frying pan will damage the epoxy countertop. Pets: No Pets Allowed Listed Fines & Fees: Pet fee per pet $75 Trash not picked up $20 Bloody or damaged Bedding is $140 per room Broken Dishes $25 Hole in Wall or Ceiling $150 per hole Clean Dishes $10 Clean out Refrigerator $10 Stained Towel $8 Drinks spilled in the pool or Hot Tub $50 24 hours of Propane pool heating $150
